I'm a good sandwich, I am.

I present to you, Miss Eliza 'Sandwich' Doolittle. Okay, I'm being a bit fruity for my liking, but my point is valid. This is a sandwich with a pretty name and plenty of exotic sounding ingredients, but one which has clearly been done on the cheap. Like Miss Doolittle, it's not nearly as posh as it looks. This is a 'Limited Edition' sandwich.

If you're going to dress up a sandwich with a posher name than 'Ham & Eggs', then you need to offer ingredients to match that name. The ham in this sandwich is the same bargain stuff that you find in pretty much all of Tesco's ham-orientated sandwiches. It's not bad by any means, but it clearly doesn't break the bank for them to use, either. Similarly, the egg mayonnaise is the type we've seen in at least a dozen other sandwiches.

Baby spinach is used as greenery, while pecorino cheese adds a pleasant flavour to proceedings. Both of these ingredients are better quality, but their portions are a tad small. Everything is encased in standard malted brown; again, it doesn't match the exotic name.

At the end of the day, this sandwich is uneven. The better quality ingredients are obvious, but they are also not the main attractions. It's tasty, but it's not fantastically so.
